Can I change my surf level on site?

Absolutely. You can move between levels at any time, whether you want bigger waves or more time on the basics. Our team adapts your sessions so you always surf the right spot.

Can I switch from a surf lesson to a surf guiding session during my stay?

Yes! If you feel confident enough to explore the waves on your own, you can switch from surf lessons to surf guiding. Just let our team know, and we’ll adjust your package accordingly.

Do I need to bring my own surfboard?

No, we provide high-quality surfboards and wetsuits as part of our surf packages. However, if you prefer to use your own gear, feel free to bring it!

Is private surf coaching available?

Yes. If you want to progress quickly or prefer one-to-one guidance, we arrange private sessions tailored to you.

Is Taghazout good for surfing?

Definitely. Taghazout is one of the best surf towns in Morocco, with beach breaks for beginners and world-class right-hand point breaks for advanced surfers, all within a short drive. Our instructors guide you through everything, from paddling to catching your first green wave.

What if I decide to extend my stay after booking a surf package?

If you fall in love with The Horizon (which happens a lot!), you can extend your stay based on availability. Just let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange everything for you

What is the best time of year to surf in Taghazout?

Taghazout has waves all year. Winter (November to March) brings the big Atlantic swells that light up the points like Anchor Point – best for experienced surfers. Summer (April to October) is smaller and softer, ideal for beginners. Whatever your level, there is always a wave for you.
