At The Horizon, a traditional hammam with black-soap scrub costs 250 DH (55 min). The Berber hammam with ghassoul clay is 400 DH, the Royal hammam (scrub, coffee and ghassoul masks plus a 10-minute massage) is 450 DH, and hammam + massage combos start at 450 DH.

Yes, and it is one of our most popular combos. After a few days of paddling, a toning, Berber or hot-stone massage releases the shoulders, back and neck. Many surfers book a hammam + massage on a flat day or after their last session.

Our hammam sessions are private or semi-private, meaning you can book alone, with a friend, or in a small group depending on your preference.

You start by relaxing in the steam to open your pores, then you are washed with Moroccan black soap (savon beldi) and scrubbed from head to toe with a kessa glove. Depending on the ritual, we finish with a ghassoul clay or coffee mask before a final rinse. You leave with very soft skin and a deep feeling of calm.

Nothing. We provide everything you need for the hammam and massage. You can bring a change of clothes for afterwards if you like.

The Horizon Spa is in the centre of Taghazout village, inside The Horizon surf house and a one-minute walk from the beach. Most guests simply walk over after their surf session – no car or taxi needed.
